Partnership with: USA Today & Travel Channel

Project: Best of the Road

Project Challenge: How do you get other people to talk about a 156-year-old brand again and do it on a tight budget?

The Solution: Create a strategic partnership with two of the most well-known brands in media. Create a promotion plan for a nation-wide contest and road rally to find the best small towns in America. Create a two-part promotion where 700+ small towns across America participated to compete, and dozens of videographer teams competed to drive across the USA to judge the towns.

We signed various sponsorships to help pay for everything; Honda gave us all the cars, Choice Hotels accommodated gave us the hotel accommodations around the USA, and Fleetwood RVs loaned us a beautiful, $500,000 RV, so our hosts and main video team could drive from one side of the country to the other and document the event.

The result? Over 1 BILLION media impressions in 6 months, all talking about Rand McNally. Mission accomplished.

Special Motorcycle Atlas

Project Challenge: How do you make it easier for motorcycle drivers to take a road trip?

The Solution: Create a street / road atlas specific to motorcycles, with special content and information.


For: Brush Creek Ranch
Partnership with:
Sports Illustrated

Project: Exposure for Brush Creek Mercantile and the Ranch overall in the most iconic calendar and magazine swimsuit edition.

The Solution: Host a photoshoot for two of the calendar months, featuring models who wore jewelry available for sale at The Mercantile; Brush Creek Ranch’s retail sales division.

The Solution: Partner with Fly XO, a leading private jet company, to offer private flights to Ranch guests and give them the opportunity to experience the XO fleet.
